Oswaldo Martinolli

Oswaldo Martinolli (born October 23, 1929 in Avellaneda ) is a former Argentine football player who acted in the attacking midfield or in the attack .

career

Martinolli began his career at his hometown club CA Independiente and then played for Quilmes AC before leaving his home country and initially hired by the Guatemalan club Palermo .

In 1955 he moved to the Mexican league for León FC , with whom he won the league title and the Supercup in his first season in 1955/56 . Another triumph in the Copa México followed two years later .

Martinolli remained associated with the city of León for the rest of his life. After he had ended his active career with the Esmeraldas , for whom he scored a total of 77 goals, at the end of the 1963/64 season, he opened an Argentinian restaurant near León in 1979, which is still family-owned today.
