The canton of Alaigne was a French canton in the Aude département and in the Languedoc-Roussillon region until 2015 . It included 26 parishes in the Limoux arrondissement ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Alaigne . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.

The canton was 184.26 km² and last had 5341 inhabitants (as of 2012), which corresponded to a population density of 29 inhabitants per km². It was on average at 282  m , between 166  m in Lauraguel and 560  m in Pomy.
