Brugairolles ( Occitan : Brugairolas ) is a southern French municipality with 273 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the center of the Aude department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Limoux (until 2017 Limoux ) and the canton La Piège au Razès (until 2015 Alaigne ). The inhabitants are called Brugairollais .

Brugairolles is located on the southeastern edge of the Lauragais in the former county of Razès, about 23 kilometers southwest of Carcassonne . Brugairolles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montréal in the north, Villarzel-du-Razès in the east and north-east, Malviès in the east and south-east, Routier in the south and south-west, Cambieure in the west and Cailhau in the west and north-west.
