Donazac ( Occitan : Donasac ) is a southern French municipality with 109 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the center of the Aude department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Limoux (until 2017 Limoux ) and the canton La Piège au Razès (until 2015 Alaigne ). The inhabitants are called Donazacois .
location
Donazac is located on the southeastern edge of the Lauragais in the former county of Razès, about 30 kilometers southwest of Carcassonne . Donazac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Alaigne in the north and west, Routier in the north, Pauligne in the east and Loupia in the northwest.
