Ginoles ( Occitan : Ginòlas ) is a French commune in the Limoux arrondissement in the Aude department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ) in the foothills of the Pyrenees . It has 303 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). Ginoles belongs to the canton of La Haute-Vallée de l'Aude (until 2015 Quillan ) and to the communauté de communes Pyrénées Audoises . The inhabitants are called Ginolais .

Ginoles is about 50 kilometers south-southwest of Carcassonne . Ginoles is surrounded by the neighboring communities Quillan in the north, south and east and Coudons in the west.
