Gaja-et-Villedieu is a municipality with 292 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department of Aude in Occitania (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ). It belongs to the canton of La Region Limouxine (until 2015 Limoux ) in the Arrondissement of Limoux . The inhabitants are called Gajaquois or Villadéens .

Gaja-et-Villedieu is about 23 kilometers southwest of Carcassonne . Gaja-et-Villedieu is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lauraguel in the north, Saint-Martin-de-Villereglan in the northeast, Limoux in the south and east, Malras in the south and Pauligne in the west.
