Pieusse is a municipality with 987 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department of Aude in Occitania (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ). It belongs to the canton of La Region Limouxine (until 2015 Saint-Hilaire ) in the arrondissement of Limoux . The inhabitants are called Pieussans .
geography
Pieusse is located about 20 kilometers south-southwest of Carcassonne on the Aude . Pieusse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cépie in the north and northwest, Pomas in the north and northeast, Saint-Hilaire in the east and northeast, Gardie in the east, Villar-Saint-Anselme in the southeast, Limoux in the south and Saint-Martin-de-Villereglan in the West and northwest.
