Caunette-sur-Lauquet ( Occitan : Cauneta de Lauquet ) is a municipality with 4 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department of Aude in Occitania . It belongs to the canton of La Region Limouxine (until 2015: canton of Saint-Hilaire ) in the arrondissement of Limoux . The inhabitants are called Caunettais .

Caunette-sur-Lauquet is located about 24 kilometers south-southeast of Carcassonne on the Lauquet . Caunette-sur-Lauquet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Clermont-sur-Lauquet in the north, Lairière in the east and south-east, Bouisse and Villardebelle in the south, Belcastel-et-Buc in the west and Saint-Hilaire in the north-west.
