The District of Saint-Hilaire was 2015 a French constituency in the department of Aude in the region of Languedoc-Roussillon . It comprised 14 parishes in the Arrondissement of Carcassonne ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Saint-Hilaire . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.

The canton was 180.45 km 2 and last had 3199 inhabitants (as of 2012), which corresponded to a population density of 18 inhabitants per km 2 . It was on average at 282  m , between 133  m in Verzeille and 857  m in Villardebelle.
