The canton of La Malpère à la Montagne Noire is a French constituency in the Aude department in the Occitanie region . It comprises 27 municipalities in the Arrondissement of Carcassonne and has its bureau centralisateur in Montréal . During the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons at the beginning of 2015, the old canton of Montréal was given a new layout before it was renamed La Malpère à la Montagne Noire by a further decree on January 1, 2016 .
