The canton of Ginestas was a French canton in the Aude department and in the Languedoc-Roussillon region until 2015 . It comprised 14 parishes in the Arrondissement of Narbonne ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Ginestas . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.

The canton was 155.91 km ² and last had 17,141 inhabitants (as of 2012), which corresponded to a population density of 110 inhabitants per km ² . It was on average at 41  m , between 6  m in Ouveillan and 323  m in Bize-Minervois.
