Brulange (German Brülingen ) is a French commune with 100 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Forbach-Boulay-Moselle arrondissement .

geography

The municipality of Brulange is located in the Rotte valley , about 30 kilometers south-east of Metz . The Paris-Strasbourg railway line ( LGV Est européenne ) runs immediately south of the town center . The municipality covers 5.83 km². Neighboring communities are Thicourt in the north, Thonville in the northeast, Suisse in the east, Destry in the southeast, Marthille in the south, Lesse in the southwest and Arraincourt in the west.
