The Communauté d'agglomération Saint-Avold Synergie is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region . It was founded on September 27, 2016 and comprises 41 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Saint-Avold .

Historical development

The community association was originally created with effect from January 1, 2017 as Communauté de communes under the name Communauté de communes Agglo Saint-Avold Center Mosellan through the merger of the predecessor organizations

• Communauté de communes du Pays Naborien and
• Communauté de communes du Center Mosellan .

On July 1, 2017, the association was raised to the legal form of a communauté d'agglomération and changed its name to the current name.
