The Communauté de communes du Pays de Bitche ( German community association Bitscher Land ) is a French community association with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region . It was founded on November 23, 2016 and comprises 46 municipalities (as of January 1, 2017). The administrative seat is in Bitsch (French Bitche ).

Historical development

The original community association of the same name (SirenCode: 200023026) was created in 2009 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

With effect from January 1, 2017, this community association merged with the Communauté de communes de Rohrbach-lès-Bitche and thus formed a successor organization with the same name. Despite having the same name, it is a start-up with a different legal personality (SirenCode: 200069441).
