The Communauté de communes du Pays du Verre et du Cristal ( German community association Glas- und Kristall-Land ) is a former community association ( Communauté de communes ) in the arrondissement of Sarreguemines in the Moselle department of the former Lorraine region . It is named after the Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche crystal factory and the Meisenthal glassworks . Its administrative seat was in Meisenthal .

history

On January 1, 1993, the SIVOM de Lemberg was transformed into the later Communauté de communes du Pays du Verre et du Cristal .

At the end of 2009, the community association merged with the Communauté de communes de Bitche et environs and the Communauté de communes de Volmunster and thus formed the new Communauté de communes du Pays de Bitche .
