The Communauté de communes de Volmunster ( German community association Wollmünster ) is a former community association ( Communauté de communes ) in the arrondissement Sarreguemines of the Moselle department of the former Lorraine region . It was on the border with the German states of Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland . Its administrative seat was in the place Volmunster (German: Wollmünster ).

history

On December 20, 1991, the District de Volmunster was founded, which was converted into a Communauté de communes on December 28, 2000 .

At the end of 2009, the community association merged with the Communauté de communes du Pays du Verre et du Cristal and the Communauté de communes de Bitche et environs , thus forming the new Communauté de communes du Pays de Bitche .
