Amedée Paté

Amedée Paté (born October 29, 1846 in Brülingen , † March 22, 1914 in Strasbourg ) was a Franco-German politician and member of the first chamber of the state parliament of Alsace-Lorraine .

Amedée Paté was the son of Jean-Baptiste Paté (born January 29, 1816 Brülingen; † May 27, 1887 ibid), a large landowner and a pro-French member of the regional committee. The anti-clerical father had a fortune of 1/2 million gold marks , 180 hectares of land and a castle in Brülingen and was president of the Mörchingen agricultural association.

Amedée Paté took over the father's agricultural estate and lived as a large landowner. He converted to the Old Catholic Church. From November 1885 to 1911 he was a member of the state committee. From 1911 until his death in 1914, he was a member of the first chamber of the Landtag as a representative of the Lorraine Agriculture Council .
