Volmerange-lès-Boulay (German: Volmeringen ) is a French commune with 559 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). Neighboring communities are Hinckange in the north, Helstroff in the southeast and Condé-Northen in the west. The Kurzel – Teterchen railway , which was opened on June 15, 1873, had a breakpoint south of the town center. The line was shut down and dismantled in 1944 after being badly damaged by the war.
