Vahl-lès-Faulquemont ( German until 1915 Vahlen , since then Wahlen , Lorraine election ) is a French commune with 256 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ), about 35 km east of Metz located.

The place was badly destroyed in the Thirty Years War and has belonged to France since 1766.

1871-1918 Vahl-lès-Faulquemont belonged temporarily again to the German Empire , the community in 1910 still had 288 inhabitants.
