Adelange ( German Edelingen ) is a French commune with 209 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ).

Adelange is located 250 meters above sea level, about 36 kilometers southeast of Metz and 13 kilometers southwest of Saint-Avold . The municipality covers 5.81 km². The place is surrounded by agricultural land and little forest. The highest point of the place reaches a height of 317 m.

Neighboring municipalities of Adelange are Vahl-lès-Faulquemont in the northeast, Boustroff in the southeast, Eincheville in the south and Faulquemont in the west and north.

Economy and Infrastructure

The community is predominantly agricultural. An old Roman road ran south of the municipality. Today the place is accessed by two streets. The D20 from Baronville to Faulquemont runs about one kilometer west of the village.
