The canton of Carcassonne-3 is a French constituency in the Aude department in the Occitanie region . It covers part of the municipality of Carcassonne and six other municipalities in the Arrondissement of Carcassonne and has its bureau centralisateur in Carcassonne. As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was expanded in spring 2015.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, only the center of the city belonged to the canton of Carcassonne-3, which is why it was also called the Carcassonne Center . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 1132.
