The Canton of Couiza was 2015 a French canton in the department of Aude in the region of Languedoc-Roussillon . It comprised 22 parishes in the Arrondissement of Limoux ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Couiza . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.

The canton was 258.64 km² and last had 4049 inhabitants (as of 2012), which corresponded to a population density of 16 inhabitants per km². It was on average at 421  m , between 211  m in Montazels and 1227  m in Bugarach.
