The Canton of Conques-sur-Orbiel was 2015 a French canton in the department of Aude and the region Languedoc-Roussillon . It included 10 parishes in the Arrondissement of Carcassonne ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Conques-sur-Orbiel . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Alain Marcaillou ( PCF ) was most recently a representative in the General Council of the Department .
