The canton of Fanjeaux was a French canton in the Aude department and in the Languedoc-Roussillon region until 2015 . It comprised 16 parishes in the Arrondissement of Carcassonne ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Fanjeaux . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.

The canton was 212.14 km 2 and last had 7,265 inhabitants (as of 2012), which corresponded to a population density of 34 inhabitants per km². It was on average at 316  m , between 119  m in Bram and 483  m in Plavilla.
