Montfort-sur-Boulzane ( Occitan Montfort de Bolzana ) is a municipality with 88 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French administrative region of Occitania (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ), in the Aude department , in the Limoux arrondissement and in the canton of La Haute- Vallée de l'Aude ( Axat until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Monfortais .

Montfort-sur-Boulzane is about 59 kilometers west of Perpignan on the Boulzane . Neighboring municipalities are Salvezines in the north and northwest, Gincla in the north, Vira in the northeast, Rabouillet in the east, Mosset in the south and Sainte-Colombe-sur-Guette in the west.
