The Boulzane is a river in France that runs in the Occitania region . It rises just north of the Regional Nature Park Pyrénées Catalanes , in the municipality of Montfort-sur-Boulzane , first drains in a northerly direction, reaches a valley near the hamlet of Lapradelle , municipality of Puilaurens , which it follows to the east through the landscape of the Fenouillèdes and flows out after 34 Kilometers in the municipality of Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet as a right tributary into the Agly , which immediately afterwards forms the Clue de la Fou gorge . On its way, the Boulzane crosses the Aude and Pyrénées-Orientales departments .
