Acropolis (Kaunas)

Akropolis is a shopping mall and entertainment center in Kaunas , Lithuania . It was built near the Memel by the Lithuanian company Akropolis Group in 2007. It is located next to the river and Žalgirio Arena . On the west side of the building there is a four-story free car park, the fourth floor of which can be reached by car as a vantage point.
There are grocery stores, Maxima LT supermarket, shops, etc. The shopping center also has bookshops. There are also two older buildings within the building. Akropolis was sold to the German company Deka Immobilien GmbH in autumn 2008. The leisure and restaurant area has an area of 10,000 square meters.
