Cépie ( Occitan : Cépia ) is a municipality with 646 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in southern France in the Aude department . It belongs to the arrondissement of Limoux and the canton of La Région Limouxine (until 2015: canton of Limoux ). The inhabitants are called Cépinois .

geography

Cépie is located about 15 kilometers south-southeast of the city center of Carcassonne . The Aude limits the community in the southeast. Cépie is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montclar in the north, Pomas in the east, Pieusse in the south and southeast and Saint-Martin-de-Villereglan in the west.
