Cambieure ( Occitan : Campbiure ) is a southern French municipality with 304 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the center of the Aude department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Limoux (until 2017 Limoux ) and the canton La Piège au Razès (until 2015 Alaigne ). The inhabitants are called Cambieurois .

location

Cambieure is located on the southeastern edge of the Lauragais in the former county of Razès, about 22 kilometers southwest of Carcassonne . Cambieure is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cailhau in the north, Brugairolles in the east, Routier in the south and Belvèze-du-Razès in the west.
