Escouloubre ( Occitan : Escolobre ) is a municipality with 73 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French administrative region of Occitania , in the Aude department , in the Limoux arrondissement and in the canton of La Haute-Vallée de l'Aude . The inhabitants are called Escouloubrais .

geography

Escouloubre is about 70 kilometers west of Perpignan . Neighboring municipalities are Fontanès-de-Sault in the north and northwest, Aunat in the north, Bessède-de-Sault in the northeast, Le Bousquet in the east, Réal in the south, Puyvalador in the south and southwest, Quérigut and Carcanières in the southwest and Le Puch and Rouze in the West.
