Company history
The current business model of emagine is the result of several mergers & acquisitions , beginning in the late 1990s by Parity Group PLC, a listed IT services company headquartered in the UK. The result of the acquisitions was a European business unit that comprised France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland. In 2006, GFT Technologies , a German listed company for IT services, acquired the French and German divisions of Parity and consolidated them into the Resourcing division . A UK branch was opened in 2007. At the beginning of 2013, GFT renamed the Resourcing division to emagine and, as part of this, combined all local activities under a common brand. In 2015, the management team, headed by Jean-François Bodin, acquired emagine from GFT through a leveraged buy-out in combination with a carve-out. Since then, emagine has been operating on the market as an independent, owner-managed company.
