The observation tower of the city of Wasserburg am Inn is a tower built in 1854 near the district Weikertsham , which was planned and implemented as an "observation tower" by master builder Michael Geisberger in the same year .

The tower stands on a hill about 700 meters southeast of the old town of Wasserburg and offers a good view of the alpine panorama .

The observation tower is open to the public, but the key must be collected beforehand from the nearby Huberwirt inn or from the town's tourist office, stating your name.
