Reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017
As a result of the reorganization of the arrondissements in 2017, the area of the seven municipalities Avène , Brenas , Ceilhes-et-Rocozels , Dio-et-Valquières , Joncels , Le Bousquet-d'Orb and Lunas was assigned to the Arrondissement Béziers from the Arrondissement Lodève .
Instead, the area of the five municipalities of Cabrières , Fontès , Lieuran-Cabrières , Péret and Usclas-d'Hérault changed from the arrondissement of Béziers to the arrondissement of Lodève and the area of the municipality of Marseillan to the arrondissement of Montpellier .
