Berlou ( Occitan : Berlon ) is a place and a municipality in the south of France with 203 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Béziers and the canton of Saint-Pons-de-Thomières (until 2015: canton of Olargues ). The inhabitants are called Berlounais .

location

Berlou is about 26 kilometers northwest of Béziers . Berlou is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Olargues in the north and north-west, Roquebrun in the north and east, Cessenon-sur-Orb in the south-east, Prades-sur-Vernazobre in the south and south-east, Ferrières-Poussarou in the west and Saint-Étienne-d'Albagnan in the Northwest.
