Roquessels ( Occitan Ròcacèls ) is a southern French municipality with 104 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Béziers and the canton of Cazouls-lès-Béziers (until 2015: canton of Roujan ). The inhabitants are called Roquesselois .

Roquessels is about 22 kilometers north of Béziers . This is where the Libron rises . Roquessels is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pézènes-les-Mines in the north, Fos in the northeast, Montesquieu in the east, Gabian in the southeast, Fouzilhon in the south, Laurens in the southwest and Faugères in the west.
