Tourbes is about 20 kilometers northeast of Béziers . Tourbes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Alignan-du-Vent in the north and north-west, Pézenas in the north and east, Nézignan-l'Évêque in the south-east, Valros in the south and Servian in the west and south-west.
Autoroute A75 and Route nationale 9 run through the southeast of the municipality .
