Abeilhan ( Occitan : Abelhan ) is a southern French municipality with 1,705 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region (until 2015: Languedoc-Roussillon ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Béziers and the canton of Pézenas (until 2015: canton of Servian ). The inhabitants are called Abeilhanais .

location

Abeilhan is about 13 kilometers northeast of Béziers am Thongue . Abeilhan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pouzolles in the north and northwest, Margon in the north, Alignan-du-Vent in the east, Servian in the south and Coulobres in the west.
