Lascha Bugadze ( Georgian ლაშა ბუღაძე ; born January 1, 1977 in Tbilisi , Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic , Soviet Union ) is a Georgian playwright , writer and cartoonist .

Life

Bugadze was educated at the Jakob Nikoladze Art School , the Faculty of Drama at the Shota Rustaveli University of Theater and Film, and the Art Faculty of the Ivane Javakhishvili State University in Tblisi.

Since 1998 Bugadze has become known as the author of plays, novels and short stories, some of which have been awarded prizes. He was also the author of cartoons and scripts of soap operas for public television in his home country.

In 2016, his novel Der Literaturexpress from 2009 was published in Germany in a translation by Nino Harati vili .
