Boisset ( identical in Occitan ) is a French commune with 40 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region . Boisset belongs to the arrondissement of Béziers and the canton of Saint-Pons-de-Thomières . The inhabitants are called Bouissetols .

geography

Boisset is located in the southernmost foothills of the Massif Central , between the Jaur valley and the lowlands sloping to the Mediterranean , north of Narbonne . The municipality is part of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park . Boisset is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Verreries-de-Moussans in the north and north-west, Rieussec in the north and east, Vélieux in the east and south-east, Minerve in the south, La Livinière in the south-west and Ferrals-les-Montagnes in the west.
