Valras-Plage is a French commune with 4207 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Béziers and the canton of Béziers-1 . The municipality became independent in 1931 and until then belonged to Sérignan .

Valras-Plage is a seaside resort about eleven kilometers south of Béziers . The place is divided by the mouth of the Orb , the development is limited to the part west of the river, but is densely built there.
