Verreries-de-Moussans is located in the southernmost foothills of the Massif Central , between the Jaur valley and the lowland sloping to the Mediterranean , north of Narbonne , in the valley of the Thoré river . The municipality is part of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park . Verreries-de-Moussans is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Courniou in the north, Saint-Pons-de-Thomières in the east, Rieussec in the south-east, Boisset in the south, Ferrals-les-Montagnes in the west and south-west and Labastide-Rouairoux in the north-west.
