Cazouls-d'Hérault ( Occitan : Càsols d'Erau ) is a place and a municipality in southern France with 406 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Béziers and the canton of Mèze (until 2015: canton of Montagnac ). The inhabitants are called Cazoulins .

location

Cazouls-d'Hérault is located about 26 kilometers northeast of Béziers and about 35 kilometers west-southwest of Montpellier on the Boyne and the Hérault , which borders the municipality in the east. Cazouls-d'Hérault is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Paulhan in the north and north-west, Usclas-d'Hérault in the north and north-east, Montagnac in the east, Lézignan-la-Cèbe in the south and west and Nizas in the west.
