The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Lodève and the canton of Mèze (until 2015: canton of Montagnac ).

location

Usclas-d'Hérault is located about 27 kilometers northeast of Béziers and about 34 kilometers west-southwest of Montpellier on the Hérault , which borders the municipality in the east. Usclas-d'Hérault is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Paulhan in the north and west, Saint-Pargoire in the west and north-west, Saint-Pons-de-Mauchiens in the east, Montagnac in the south and south-east and Cazouls-d'Hérault in the south and south-west.
