Vendémian ( Occitan : Vendemian ) is a town in the south of France and a municipality with 1,056 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Lodève and the canton of Gignac . The inhabitants are called Vendémianais .

location

Vendémian is about 38 kilometers northeast of Béziers and about 25 kilometers west-southwest of Montpellier . Vendémian is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Bauzille-de-la-Sylve in the north, Aumelas in the south and east, Plaissan in the southwest and Le Pouget in the west.
