Vacquières ( Occitan : Vaquièiras ) is a French commune with 651 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Lodève and the canton of Lodève . The inhabitants are called Vacquiérois .

The municipality borders on Corconne and Brouzet-lès-Quissac to the north, Carnas to the east, Saint-Bauzille-de-Montmel and Fontanès to the south and Sauteyrargues to the west .
