Les Plans ( Occitan : Los Plans ) is a place and a municipality in the south of France with 279 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Languedoc-Roussillon ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Lodève and the canton of Lodève . The inhabitants are called Planois or Planols .

Les Plans is about 51 kilometers west-northwest of Montpellier . Les Plans is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lauroux in the north and north-east, Lodève in the south and east, Lunas in the south-west, Joncels in the west and Roqueronde in the north-west.
