Sainte-Croix-de-Quintillargues ( Occitan : Santa Crotz de Quintilhargues ) is a French commune with 902 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region (before 2016: Languedoc-Roussillon ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Lodève and the canton of Saint-Gély-du-Fesc (until 2015: canton of Les Matelles ). The inhabitants are called Quintillarguois .

Sainte-Croix-de-Quintillargues is located about 17 kilometers north-northeast of Montpellier . The Bénovie river has its source here . Sainte-Croix-de-Quintillargues is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fontanés in the north, Saint-Bauzille-de-Montmel in the south and east and Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers in the west.
