Mourèze is about 41 kilometers west of Montpellier . Mourèze is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Liausson in the north, Clermont-l'Hérault in the east, Villeneuvette in the east and south-east, Cabrières in the south, Valmascle in the south-west, Salasc in the west and Octon in the north-west.
