Teyran is located about ten kilometers northeast of Montpellier on the Salaison river . Teyran is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Guzargues in the north, Castries in the east, Vendargues in the southeast, Le Crès in the south, Jacou and Clapiers in the west and southwest and Assas in the west and northwest.
