Le Cros ( Occitan : Lo Cròs ) is a French commune with 55 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Lodève and the canton of Lodève (until 2015 Le Caylar ). The inhabitants are called Crossiens .

geography

Le Cros is about 45 kilometers west-northwest of Montpellier . The municipality borders on La Couvertoirade to the north and northwest, Campestre-et-Luc to the north and northeast, Sorbs to the east, Saint-Michel to the southeast, Pégairolles-de-l'Escalette to the south and southwest, Saint-Félix-de-l 'Héras in the southwest and Le Caylar in the west.
